Understanding Hearing Loss
An accurate assessment of your hearing loss will enable us to find the best solution for your individual needs. At Hear Clearly we take a very different approach to many high street stores. Our first priority is not just to conduct a hearing test but to take time to fully understand you, your hearing health and your lifestyle.
Your hearing consultation
- A typical hearing consultation will take approximately 1.5 hours and we start with a detailed discussion regarding your hearing health
- We encourage you to be accompanied by a spouse, partner or family member who can often add useful and important information to the discussion
- We will then do a full visual examination of the ear, auditory canal and ear drum.
- If it is appropriate to continue we will conduct a full audiometric hearing assessment, we can then give a thorough explanation of the outcomes, you will have plenty of time to ask questions and discuss any concerns you may have.
- If necessary we will then give honest impartial advice on the hearing system that is most suitable for you specific needs.
